PLAY VINYL
+ Visual Identity
+ Motion Design
Upon my investigation of record stores in New York, I observed that they are typically classified by era or artist name. Consequently, I conceived the idea of establishing a new store, "Play Vinyl," that sorts records by color, intending to impart a lively, lavish, enjoyable, and contemporary ambiance to the store.
I meticulously handpicked the most prevalent colors prevalent in records and simplified them based on the conventional method of showcasing records in stores. This approach enabled me to formulate the brand identity and overall visual design for "Play Vinyl." In addition, to aid customers in quickly locating their desired records, I devised a comprehensive collection of color-coded signs for the organized arrangement of records by color at "Play Vinyl."
